TBD bridges the gap between the decentralized world and traditional finance through its cornerstone project, Web5. By utilizing Decentralized Identifiers (DIDs) and Verifiable Credentials (VCs), the platform eliminates the need for centralized intermediaries to manage personal data. The stack includes the tbDEX protocol, which facilitates liquidity between fiat and digital assets using a trustless discovery mechanism. This infrastructure allows developers to build applications where users carry their own data (Portable Digital Wallets) rather than leaving it stored in siloed corporate databases.
