Google ADK

The Agent Development Kit (ADK) is Google's open-source, model-agnostic framework for building, deploying, and orchestrating complex multi-agent AI systems.

ADK is a flexible, modular, open-source framework: it streamlines the end-to-end development of AI agents and multi-agent systems. While optimized for the Gemini model and the Google ecosystem, the kit is both model-agnostic (supporting models via LiteLLM) and deployment-agnostic. It’s built for modern software development: developers can utilize SDKs in Python, TypeScript, Go, and Java. The framework supports sophisticated architectures, including multi-agent composition and structured control flows (SequentialAgent, ParallelAgent). For production readiness, Google recommends deployment to the fully managed Vertex AI Agent Engine Runtime.
