ESP-EYE

An integrated AI development board by Espressif featuring a 2MP camera and digital microphone for edge-based facial recognition and voice wake-up.

Built around the ESP32 chip, the ESP-EYE delivers 8MB of PSRAM and 4MB of flash to handle complex vision and audio tasks locally. It utilizes an OV2640 camera sensor and a high-sensitivity digital microphone to interface with the ESP-WHO and ESP-Skainet AI frameworks. This board enables secure, offline processing for smart home security and industrial automation (no cloud latency required). The hardware includes a micro-USB interface for 5V power and serial debugging: providing a streamlined path from prototype to deployment.
