This is the next generation of industrial automation: Atlas is Boston Dynamics' enterprise-grade, all-electric humanoid robot. It features 56 degrees of freedom, a 2.3-meter (7.5 ft) reach, and a 50 kg (110 lbs) lift capacity (instantaneous) for demanding material handling. Leveraging advanced AI, Atlas learns new skills quickly and operates autonomously, even navigating to a charging station for self-swapping batteries. Initial deployments are scheduled with Hyundai to optimize real-world sequencing and logistics, proving the platform's commercial viability.
